**goal:** put together resource docs on “database basics”
**idea:** everyone can use these resources docs to spend 5-10 minutes grasping key concepts that people should understand about databases if they’re going to plan one. If they do this once, it will REALLY saves them time down the line!
**we decided**
* to watch the first three chunks of [this LinkedIn Learning Course on Database Basics](https://www.linkedin.com/learning/programming-foundations-databases-2/relationship-rules-and-referential-integrity?u=2194065)
* to meet up and work on the first couple of resource docs in Hackmd.io next time
* for everyone to get signed up for hackmd.io (then Jordan invited them to this workspace).
### NEXT!
we'll work on resource docs related to
* records and fields (or objects and properties--whatever you want to call them)
* relations (one to one, one to many, many to many)
* normalization (1NF, 2NF, 3NF)
* queries (& Airtable Views & Filters)
* tools for planning databases (ERDs, scraps of paper, etc.)
* Bok internal (once the structure is confirmed, let's map it out)
* scripting in Airtable
