- Simon is exiting EPFL at the end of September.
- Xing and Jason will take over the coordination of the project.
- A test cluster for the AiiDA tutorial 2022
- JC explains his use case
- Sandvik uses AiiDA for DFT and MD calculations
- many calculations are running on Azure
- AiiDAlab is deployed via the Ansible playbook (deployed in Azure)
- no focus on widgets at the moment, but might be of interest in the future
- The system is automatically integrate with Azure CycleCloud.
- The head node stays online and can be permanently configured.
- The scheduler is then actually allocating the resources to run the calculations.
- Wants:
- use Azure AD to control data access
- use Azure external volumes (or block storage) to maintain and backup the data
- use the PostgreSQL database provided by Azure
- Simon proposed the new mission statement, general approval.
