* Tomorrow: `StructureData` day!
* Suggestion: Next week Friday `WorkTree` day.
* AiiDA coding retreat: can we afford it?
Sebastiaan:
* Prepared [the release branch](https://github.com/aiidateam/aiida-core/pull/6353) for v2.6. Following PRs are blocking:
* [`LocalTransport`: Accept existing directories in `puttree`](https://github.com/aiidateam/aiida-core/pull/6348): Critical bug introduced by [this recent commit](https://github.com/aiidateam/aiida-core/commit/6898ff4d8c263cf08707c61411a005f6a7f731dd). Went unnoticed by the tests, but breaks `PwCalculation` for example.
* [Migration: Drop the hashes for all nodes](https://github.com/aiidateam/aiida-core/pull/6350): Bit of a formality but necessary after all changes to the caching mechanism.
* [CLI: Add the command `verdi presto`](https://github.com/aiidateam/aiida-core/pull/6351): I really want to get this in. Could be in a minimal state that would just be extandable with additional features in the next release.
* [`verdi storage backup`](https://github.com/aiidateam/aiida-core/pull/6069):
Julian:
* [Blog post](https://github.com/GeigerJ2/aiida-website/blob/2b0f42393c15233908cad040fb97deb07bd52f1e/docs/news/posts/2024-05-XX-user-friendliness-2.5.md)
* Features to put in: Service-less installation, softer transition from file system to database-approach (dumping), new QB syntax, automatic serialization of base data types
* Reserve for next one: Simpler writing of workflows, Submission controller/WorkTree
* Also add:
* Anything else for user friendliness since v2.0 that's mature enough to be presented?
* [CLI: Optional sorting for `verdi code export`](https://github.com/aiidateam/aiida-core/pull/6345)
Ali:
* [Questionnaire](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScCHeK3-g9s3dhKz79ZWPHzcB39TAnKaV5qycUvgD1JbNFH6g/viewform) ready to go
Xing:
* WorkTree
* [HackMD: Discussion on the name and syntax of WorkTree](https://hackmd.io/TnqEGeSaS760pWJ7gNR_tw): please have look at, your feedback are welcome!
* [Support appending worktree](https://github.com/superstar54/aiida-worktree/pull/37)
* [Show WorkTree and Node in the Jupyter-notebook](https://github.com/superstar54/aiida-worktree/pull/39)
* [Improve while condition](https://github.com/superstar54/aiida-worktree/pull/40): Support use the context variable as a condition, support `max_iteration`
* request relase of aiida-quantumespresso v4.5.2 to support HubbardStructureData inside AiiDAlab
Kristjan:
* GSoC: proposal ranking deadline: 24th April. Who can do it and who is responsible? How to notify the proposal we want?
Jason:
* start testing on GUI with AiiDAlab widgets for AiiDA in https://github.com/unkcpz/aiida-amneris
Miki:
* nothing to report on aiida core - StructureData day tomorrow.
* working on ASE to AiiDA for the koopmans case
