# How to maximize Hacker Houses

This is a collection of reflection questions to discuss with mentors in order to identify the key elements to maximize Hacker Houses participation.

## Goals
- [ ] What is the ultimate goal we have for this project and team?
- [ ] What would an ideal outcome be for this hacker house?
- [ ] What does success look like at the end of the trip?

(e.g. learning, bounties, finding investors, exposure, collabs, and partnerships, etc.)

## People
- [ ] Who are key people you need to meet?
- [ ] Who are key people you would like to meet?
- [ ] Who are other interesting people that would attend?
- [ ] How do you want to be perceived? (hard worker, enthusiast, smart, friendly, connected, etc)

(e.g. devrels, ecosystem dev, grant evaluators, project leads, founders, investors, mentors )

#### Tips:
- Be friendly!!! Introduce yourself and ask questions
- Ask for Telegram (and use QR codes)
- Send a message immediately (picture or description)
- Take notes on what you learned about people
- If you're going to visit a new place, do it with new people!
- Be mindful of your goals
- Schedule 1:1s with key people
- Tag newly met people or talks on X as you're learning
- Who else can should I meet in this event?

## Events
- [ ] Which events will help me pursue my goals the most?
- [ ] Which sessions do I want to attend? (look at the agenda)

#### Tips:
- Divide and conquer
- Book and reserve, manage your schedule
- Take notes on what you learned about the events
- Tweet during the events!!!

## Technology & Milesotnes
- [ ] What key technology should I understand to X level to be successful with my goals?
- [ ] What milestones should me/my team accomplish before the Hacker House to be succesful with our goals?
