# Active Mission List
## #dao-intel-rendezvous
**Overview:**
In addition to asychronous intel sharing via the Curation Engine, The DIA gathers weekly for a synchronous Rendezvous to share and discuss the latest knowledge about DAOs. The intention is for speakers to be informed from experience working on DAOs, but the space and Q&A is open to the public.
**Resources:**
- [DIA Twitter Account](https://twitter.com/daointel) (@daointel)
**TODOs:**
- Finalize ability to host Twitter Spaces from @daointel Twitter account (req. 600 followers)
- Create a high-level process doc for running the Rendezvous so anyone can host from the DIA account (inc. scheduling space, promotion, facilitation)
## #dao-formation
**Overview:**
The DIA has a DAO on DAOhaus, though this has not yet been used except for adding some members. We also have a Coordinape Circle for intersubjective compensation, but it has not yet been used. Currently, we are evaluating Sourcecred as a way of objectively rewarding participation in the Curation Engine and Discord more broadly. As of 2021-10-14, we've also given out 1 POAP (for the Genesis Intelligence Rendezvous).

- [Coordinape (requires invitation + login)](https://app.coordinape.com/)
- [First DIA POAP](https://app.poap.xyz/token/1436499)
**TODOs:**
- Evaluate Sourcecred as a tool to reward Curation Engine participation
- Implement Sourcecred in discord & set weightings for specific activities
- Create formula / process for transferring Sourcecred rewards to DAOhaus DAO shares
## #dia-handbook
**Overview:**
In order to get new Agents up-to-speed in a way that is permissionless, we need documentation that outlines our mission, mechanisms, how to contribute, and rewards. The DIA Handbook serves as a jumping off place. Currently needs a lot of love to meet the criteria of onboarding someone without extra explanation.
**Resources:**
- [Handbook](https://hackmd.io/BRZWgVzwTfqaraqw8vFIqQ?view)
- [Manifesto](https://hackmd.io/nVnKrGK7Rwm6ElOJWAbtXA?view)
- [DIA Landing Page](https://decentral-intelligence-agency.webflow.io/)
**TODOs:**
- Revise the explanation of Discord channels in the Handbook
- Update the Channel Descriptions in Discord to match the Handbook
- Add Operators (responsible party) to each mission / channel
- Purchase a domain and update the Landing Page (requires paid Webflow plan)
- Develop a clear onboarding story for new Agents
- Update Handbook to meet the needs of the new Agent onboarding story
- Add more detail and clarity to the Manifesto
## #discord-to-twitter
**Overview:**
As a Curator DAO, the core mechanism of The DIA is to ingest, synthesize, and signal-boost high-value intel about DAOs. We do this via the Curation Engine, which currently lives in Discord and is published to a shared Twitter Account.
**Resources:**
- Details on the Curation Engine can be found in the [DIA Handbook](https://hackmd.io/BRZWgVzwTfqaraqw8vFIqQ?view)
- [DIA Twitter Account](https://twitter.com/daointel) (@daointel)
**TODOs:**
- Finalize Curation Engine v2 w/ Saimano (bug fixes, testing)
- Connect Curation Engine v2 to @daointel Twitter account
- Replace current Curation Engine discord channels with new channels
- Remove Carl-bot and Suggestion_bot
- Announce v2 to all Agents
## #dao-intelligence-wiki
**Overview:**
Contributing to *a decentralized wiki for DAOs* was the original schelling point for the DIA, as prompted by discussions at and following BTC Miami 2021. We ran into a number of coordination failures along the way, and saw many other wiki initiatives pop up across the ecosystem. This led us to deprioritizing this mission in favor of the Twitter-focused Curation Engine as a starting place with lower coordination costs.
**Resources:**
- [DIA Wiki](https://decentral-intelligence-agency.gitlab.io/dao-brief/) ("The DAO Brief")
- [Repo for DIA Wiki on Gitlab](https://gitlab.com/decentral-intelligence-agency/dao-brief)
**TODOs:**
- What primitive / permissionless mechanism might help us overcome coordination failures for this mission?
- Return to this initiative once the Curation Engine is well-established in domains with lower coordination costs
