# Logos Innovation Lab process Logos Innovation Lab is a design R&D studio working on innovative web3 products. It is part of the Logos ecosystem. This document describes the ways of working and the process for collaboration between Logos and LIL. ## How we work Logos Innovation Lab expresses new projects through design, technology, branding, user incentives and community development, using a repeatable process in a highly focused work environment. LIL is a team of highly specialised people. They each have a specific and complimentary skillset. Together they communicate a unified vision through technology and design. > Code + Design + Story, all communicating the same psychological perspective in usable tech. Approximately every 6 months LIL begins work on a new idea. From that idea they create a plan of action that results in a minimum viable product (MVP) with a limited scope of features and deliverables. Then, the project is handed over to a product team with the goal of bringing it to market. ## Common deliverables per project might be: - A deployed version of the dapp - A Github repo with: - frontend code - // TODO: fill in the rest from the notion or other hackmd ## Process - Every month there is a meeting with the representative of Logos (that would be Corey at the moment). LIL gives an update about the progress, the impediments and collects feedback. This meeting is also opportunity to connect other people or teams from Logos if necessary. (Michelle, Kiki, Attila) - Every week there is a written update in the #leads-roundup channel. This gives an opportunity to share progress to the bigger organisation, reveal blockers and potentially fix them before the monthly meeting. (Attila) - Questions - share publicly okay? - By the end of the 5th month a new project idea draft is presented, so that it can be finalised by the end of the 6th month and work on that can be started immediately. The approval comes from the key stakeholders at Logos. (Michelle, Attila) - Q - identify key members of Logos who can become stakeholders for the project? - There is a meeting organised at the end of the 6th month for key stakeholders and the project and deliverables are presented. (LIL team) - After the stakeholder presentation the LIL team also presents to the greater ecosystem at a Town Hall event so that everyone is aware of the projects. ## Budget / financing Separate 6 month dev cycle from funding method, change the agreement to open-ended with a 3 month cancellation period?
