Below are the Code of Conduct of our Aesthetic Programming Workshop:
請尊重所有人。 (Respect all people)
如果覺得被冒犯或不受尊重時，請明確勸告對方停手，仍無法解決時請找社群夥伴協助，或聯繫實體工作坊活動的組織者。 (If you feel offended or disrespected, please clearly advise the other party to stop. If you still can’t solve the problem, please seek the community partner for assistance, or contact the organizer of the workshop.)
如經判斷確實為冒犯騷擾情事，活動主辦單位將明確公告並請其離場。(If it is determined that it is indeed offensive and harassing, the event organizer will make a clear announcement and ask the offender to leave the venue.)
「尊重與您相同或不相同的其他人」應該是社會的基本協定，本文關注範圍暫且限定在《美學程式設計》翻譯計畫所有線上頻道與線下活動，請參與者共同維護此守則。("Respect others who are like you or different" should be a basic agreement in society. The focus of this article is temporarily limited to all online channels and offline activities of the translation project of "Aesthetic Programming Design". Participants are requested to jointly maintain this code.)
關於「尊重」(About "Respect")
請尊重所有參與者，無論其性別認同、性傾向、年齡、國籍、政治傾向、信仰、服儀、軟體偏好等等。(Respect all participants’ different beliefs, viewpoints, and feelings.)
在進行討論時的笑話、現場茶敘的行為等，都應以尊重與禮貌為原則。如果您不確定某種行為或表達方式會不會冒犯他人，別瞎猜，先找個朋友問問看吧。(Any jokes during discussion, behavior during the break chit-chat, etc., should be based on the principle of respect and courtesy. If you're not sure whether a certain behavior or expression is offensive, don't just guess but ask a friend first.)
關於「勸告」(About "Advice")
請善意推斷其他社群成員也願意共同營造彼此尊重的社群，且樂於接受指教。若您覺得受到冒犯，或見到某種不尊重他人的行為，我們鼓勵您向對方明確指出這樣的感受，並勸告對方停手。(Please assume that other community members are willing to work together to create a community of mutual respect and are open to coaching. If you feel offended, or see some kind of disrespectful behavior, we encourage you to make this clear to the other person and tell them to stop.)
如果您被他人提醒自己的行為有不當之處（或者您自己發現了），還請記得停止不當行為，並向對方鄭重道歉。大家都會犯錯，有時即使無心也可能不慎傷人。只要能重新檢視行為並避免下次再錯，我們就能有更好的社群。(If you are reminded of your inappropriate behavior by others (or you find out yourself), please also remember to stop the inappropriate behavior and offer a serious apology to the person. We all make mistakes, and sometimes we can inadvertently hurt someone even if we don't mean to. As long as we can re-examine behavior and avoid making mistakes next time, we can have a better community.)
關於「找社群夥伴協助」(About "Looking for assistance from community partners")
《美學程式設計》台灣版翻譯計畫希望創造一個讓大家能舒適交流、討論的環境。如果您認為有人違反「彼此尊重」的原則，或是對您有任何騷擾情事，您可以優先聯繫您周遭可信任的朋友先參與協助。(The translation project of "Aesthetic Programming" hopes to create an environment where everyone can communicate and discuss comfortably. If you think that someone has violated the principle of "mutual respect" or harassed you, you can give priority to contacting trusted friends around you to help first.)
如果您覺得您與可信任的社群朋友皆難以處理，請儘速告知實體工作坊活動的組織者，並描述狀況以便我們協助處理。(If you feel that it is difficult for you and your trusted community friends, please inform the organizer of the physical workshop as soon as possible, and describe the situation so that we can assist in handling it.)
