- Set events that will happen in the near future

- It's five minutes **past** twelve. **OR:** It's twelve five (12:05)
- It's a **quarter to** five. **OR:** It's four forty-five (4:45)
- It's a **quarter pass** four. **OR:** It's four fifteen. (4:15)
- It's **half past** two. **OR:** It's two thirty. (2:30)
- It's **half past** six. **OR:** It's six thirty. (6:30)
> **quarter:** 1/4 (60 min -- quarter 15 [15 + 15 + 15 + 15 = 60])
> **half:** 1/2 (60 min -- half 30 [30 + 30 = 60])

**Example Interrogative form:**
