# Product Facilitator Role Proposal

## Sentence Summary
This is a proposal to add the Product Facilitator Role to JetDAO.

### Motivation
I am proposing the Product Facilitator role to bootstrap the product roadmap and long term vision of the Jet Protocol and JetDAO. As the JetDAO community grows the functions and responsibilities of this role will likely disperse into other roles and teams as guided by the governance of the JetDAO community.

### Role Mandates
1. Facilitate Vision
During the initial stages of the Jet Protocol and JetDAO it is imperative that the community establishes a common vision and roadmap that expresses that vision. The Product Facilitator will ensure that the vision and roadmap are born out of community discussion, rigor and the principles of the JetDAO community.

2. Roadmap Execution and Management
Roadmap execution and management is the Product Facilitator's primary ongoing responsibility. The Product Facilitator should work with all necessary teams to ensure the vision and roadmap is adhered to and executed at the service of the community. The Product Facilitator will also be responsible for maintaining and updating the roadmap.

3. Communication and Transparency
The Product Facilitator should operate with transparency by default. Communication with the community is vital to ensure the Product Facilitator is executing the roadmap in line with the community's vision. The Product Facilitator should also facilitate communication between the community and other stakeholders.

4. Effectiveness of Product
Product Facilitator effectiveness should be measured by execution of the roadmap, adherence to the community's vision and in recognizing market opportunities, independently and as sourced by the community.
