- If you’re a **manager**, you must be registered in FML to compete for prizes.

### How Season Games Work
FML is structured around **Season Games** — mini competitions that run over a fixed set of gameweeks.
- Example: *GW1–GW5 is one Season Game, GW6–GW10 is the next.*
- Winners are decided based on the **most FPL points scored during that period**, not total season points.
- This keeps every block fresh and competitive, and gives both managers and predictors multiple chances to win across the season.

## Prize Distribution 🏆

### 🏆 Classic League
- Podium spots (1st, 2nd, 3rd) are based purely on **performance**.
- But — if a podium winner has **no predictions**, their allocation goes to the **treasury** instead.
- This treasury then helps **bootstrap the next season’s prize pool**, making it bigger and more attractive.
- This forces managers to **market themselves**, attract predictions, and create more revenue for the protocol.
- Social dynamics like **bribing** and endorsements become essential.

### ⚽ Prediction League
- Works like Classic, but podiums only go to managers who had **active predictions**.
- If a top-performing manager wasn’t predicted on, they’re skipped and the prize goes to the next eligible manager.
- This creates a **pure prediction-driven competition** — your bets decide the winners.

### ⏱️ Injury Time (Chaos Mode)
- The top 3 FPL performers **always win**, regardless of predictions.
- It’s pure **meritocracy**: only requirement is to be registered in FML.
- Doesn’t matter if nobody bet on you — if you finish top 3, you get the prize.
- Just like football’s stoppage time: unpredictable, dramatic, and sometimes unfair.

## How to Join a Season Game 🚀

👉 Remember: **only managers need to be registered** in FML. Predictors can join freely at any time, back a manager, and win prizes without being a manager themselves.

### Entry Requirements
- Each Season Game has a fixed **entry fee**, paid in the ERC-20 token chosen by the creator of that season (e.g., USDC, falsenine).
- **Managers don’t have to join a Season Game to be eligible.**
- A manager can sit out, do a strong **marketing push**, and let others predict on them.
- If they perform well, they still earn prize money without ever risking their own capital.
- Think of it as being like a **football agent** — your reputation and hype do the work, not your wallet.
