# Cancellation policy

If the price is not refunded, no part of the YQ/YR price will be refunded. Adults, children and infants pay. The fee (including the absence fee) is not charged if the child is not seated. This means that children and infants must pay the same change/cancellation fee as an adult passenger.

All exchange/display fees collected by XP in the tax zone are non-refundable. There is only one charge per show. See the no-show definition for the no-show or cancellation fee, whichever is greater. When tickets are issued based on two or more prices (for example, discount prices combined with flexible prices), the strictest rules apply.

If a passenger is refused check-in due to lack of a valid travel document (passport, visa, etc.), all applicable cancellation and no-show fees must be paid. Refunds will be refused if the request is submitted after the ticket has expired.

## QATAR AIRWAYS CANCELS ACCESS

If a ticket has been reissued/exchanged multiple times and is finally submitted for cancellation, the highest cancellation fee/refundable amount will apply to all reissued/exchanged fares.

## Dismantling after cancellation:

If the segment is cancelled, rebooked or refunded between 48 and 3 hours before departure, the travel agency must ensure that the e-ticket voucher:

### Ticket validity

The validity period of the ticket is defined as the maximum time during which the journey can be traveled at a certain price. All prices are subject to the price period/period maximum stay rule.

## Does Qatar allow 24 hour cancellation?

Yes, Qatar Airways has a 24-hour cancellation policy. Under this policy, travelers can cancel their reservation within 24 hours of booking without cancellation fees. This policy applies to all tickets, including Economy, Business and First Class tickets.

E-tickets can be redeemed for reordering, return/exchange or refund no later than 3 hours before departure. E-tickets will be canceled and suspended if redeemed less than 3 hours before departure. In this case, the e-ticket cannot be rebooked, reissued/exchanged or returned, and a new e-ticket must be purchased. In the event of a refund, the travel agency must ensure that all vouchers subject to refund are changed to R (RFND) status.
