# OCaml.org Content

## New Copy Needed
- **Homepage:** Items for the homepage such as facts and figures, quotes, features etc
- **Why OCaml:** Needs entirely new copy for the whole page.This page should should give an overview / introduction to what makes OCaml stand out as a language, how it was developed, what it can be used for, and what its strengths are.
- **Industrial Users:** New copy needed for the individual companies, we might be able to get something from their websites. Having a quote on there about how they use OCaml would also be useful.
- **Academic Excellence:** New copy is needed for information on the individual universities and courses
- **Success Stories:** The success stories page should have several 'stories' on it about how OCaml has been used successfully in real world examples. These 'stories' are narrative and engaging in nature, taking the user on a journey of how the positive outcome happened. It should identify the key players, the methids that allowed for success, and the implications of the technology.
- **Language:** OFronds will need new engaging copy to complement the aspirations of the initiative. The Sandbox will also need good copy that gudies the user through using it.
- **Applications:** There might need to be new User Guides and Documentation to go on the Applications page
- **Best Practices:** We need to write up Best Practice documents, which means new copy is needed.
- **News:** Any potential new stories we want for the launch will be new content that's needed
- **Terms and Conditions:** This needs all new copy, but it also needs to be defined. We need to know what should go on this page.
- **Privacy:** This page also needs all new copy, and similarly to Terms and Conditions it also needs to be defined.
- **Carbon Footprint:** This section needs entirely new copy, it should detail what OCaml.org is doing to reduce it's carbon footprint as well as what its goals are for the future.
## Copy That Needs Editing
- **Homepage:** The About us could use a second look to make sure it's engaging and precise
- **Industrial Users:** The description of the page could be edited and extended to describe the industrial landscape of OCaml more extensively
- **Academic Excellence:** The description of the page could be edited and extended to describe the academic landscape of OCaml more extensively
- **Language:** The description of the page and each component could be edited for clarity and efficacy
- **Install OCaml:** The installation guide should be edited to make sure it's up to date, as well as engaging and beginner friendly. Could use some pictures and illustrations to make it more compelling.
- **Applications:** The description of the page and each component could be edited for clarity and efficacy
- ** Around the Web:** The description of the page and each component could be edited for clarity and efficacy
## 'Data' Needed
- **Homepage:** We need good facts and material to put on the main website
- **Success Stories:** We need good examples to put on this page
- **Best Practices:** We need bext practice docs for this section
- **Opportunities:** We need job / project opportunities to post here
- **News:** We need stories to put on here for the launch
