# TDF Update call 2022-09-19

Call to debrief on Juno Growth Fund being put up on Commonwealth, outstanding funding questions and updates, and any other business.

### Growth fund

- It was agreed that Jonathan from Levana is not eligible - reasoning: would an exec from e.g. Loop be eligible, regardless of experience? We're not assembling a board of stakeholders here
- Conflict of interest per se was not seen as a complete blocker, so long as a member recused themselves from appropriate votes. It was generally agreed that a very high-DPS potential CoI was probably not desirable
- It was agreed that a 5/9 multisig would be a more manageable size, with members drawn from the following skillsets:
- Tech
- Legal/contracts
- VC/analyst
- Community
- In line with previous point, Frey stated intention to not take up a place on the JGF and step down when TDF wraps up
- It was agreed that Dev grants would ideally be available to all Growth Fund members
- It was agreed that candidates that self-nominated would not be eligible, as no exceptions that might be considered could be recalled
- It was agreed that prospective candidates would have to provide, as part of their application:
- 50-100 words personal statement on which category they fit into and professional experience in that area
- (Optionally) a link to CV or portfolio
- 50-100 words personal statement on their involvement in Juno & why they have "skin in the game"
- These three items above constitute the _minimum bar_ of an application, to help TDF discount unsuitable candidates

### Outstanding props

Talis funding prop needs to go up on chain - will be this week. Ditto agreed that WeFund defunding prop would go up on chain this week.

2x4 raised concerns of building/incubating start-up teams and importance of physical meetups for this. There was no conclusion on whether this would be in the aegis of JGF.
