# Talis Protocol Tranche 2

The first tranche of 35K JUNO was worth roughly $95K USD at time of issue. As of 2022-10-03, JUNO price is at $3.72, meaning 25K JUNO would exceed the $150K USD set cap on funding. Thus this tranche is for 14785 JUNO, or $55k USD.

## Context

Thanks to Juno's help, we've been able to survive Terra's cataclysm, and are now working on taking our marketplace to the next level. For the past 2 months, we worked at upgrading our user interface, to align it with the needs of NFT early adopters.

As of today, the first tranche of 35,000 JUNO allowed us to :

- [Deploy our Smart Contracts on Juno](https://talis.art/):
- Direct sales contract
- English auctions
- "Candy Machine" contract - e.g. random dispatcher for generative collections
- Our own supercharged cw721 contract
- Integrate Keplr wallet
- Complete the security audit conducted by Halborn Security
- Launch NFTs on Juno (more than 450 tokens minted, for 4 different collections)

This gives the opportunity to anyone that owns a juno wallet to be able to create and sell their own NFTs.

In the mean time we also have developed contracts for Talis token generation event that should take place this fall, comprised of:

- Airdrop
- Vesting
- Staking
- Governance
- Fee collector

The next round (25,000 JUNO/ with cap at 150K USD for tranche 1 + this funding round) will provide us the opportunity to implement the following features:

- On ramp integration (work in progress)
- Peer to peer NFT trading escrow (to be integrated)
- ICS721 support (to be integrated)
- Import of other marketplaces collections on Juno (to be integrated)
- "Make an offer" on a collection feature
- Print on Demand ignition
- SoulBound-like NFTs and social NFTs
- Creation of dynamic NFTs
- Creation of the Talis SDK, allowing you to spin up your own NFT system

Besides the technical features, we're planning the launch of our V1 graphical upgrade alongside Talis TGE by this fall.

We're pretty excited to offer those tools to the community. Our goal has always been to empower individuals. We're sure that a lot of brilliant applications will arise from our latest features.
