# Experience sharing of internship

First of all, I want to tell you that this internship is also the first experience for me going to another country alone. Because of difference schedule, I came here to taiwan 1 month earlier compare to all my friend from my country, so when I arrive here I am totaly alone, I don't know anybody plus I also can't speak chinese. At first I kind of worried whether I can survive alone during the intern or not but it turns out that I am not alone. People in here is pretty nice to me, they help me to arrange all necessary thing so I can live confortably in Taiwan.

During the work in the lab, the students there is pretty nice. They explain to me when I asked something that I didn't understand, they also gave me a lot of insight about how the life for graduate student and how the culture in Taiwan. Doing the intern in here is really help me a lot to open my view about the research world, what is the hot topic in current research and what kind of skill that is important to have so we can not only survive but also thrive in the future. I learn many things here and without doubt this intern is one of the life changing experience for me. I know myself better and I know what will be my next step after this Intern. If you are also the undergraduate student that have interest in reseach world but not sure about what field do you like, how to begin, and where to ask, then I recommend you to join this intern.
