Dispatch Meeting 21/05/2022

- Updates to the Dispatch Tracker
- A vote on making Tadgh Boyne a Lead Dispatch is taken to command

- Call prioritisation/triage
- Attempt to get more information from callers
- If we had a system, we could assume non-responses as more urgent ect.
- Roxas; could find a way to add priorities to calls
- EMS Command to discuss what we prioritise as calls and relate back to Dispatch (e.g. gunshot to vest vs. heart attack)
- Using category/tag system as a priority/
- Stationing-Staging/Mobile dispatch/Ridealongs
- Staging/Stationing/Ridealongs: Where can dispatch work from?
- Can dispatch from Fire stations/Life guard station/VPD/Medical facilities
- Can Dispatchers stage at events? - context dependant, but can be allowed
- Ridealongs:
- Ridealongs with dispatching is now removed
- Ducklings: removing FTO ridealongs with EMS to be replaced with scenario calls
- Mobile dispatch:
- Is now removed
- LEO Self Transportation
- Dispatch to consult with medics before allowing
- Get information on call
- Michael Wright to check in on LEO Command to see if EMS can get access to all Tac Channels
