### Overview

[Blockful](https://blockful.io), in collaboration with [Modular Crypto](https://www.modularcrypto.xyz), participated in the [Brazil Local Node](https://gov.scroll.io/proposals/10788024663134534423374741294029742427268134139357452464192978354023080129151) initiative with Scroll DAO with an on-the-ground activation in Florianópolis. **The event hit overcapacity, signaling strong interest and demand from the local ecosystem.**

- **Full audiovisual production**: photos, reels, post-event video content, and event branding

The focus of the activation was to introduce Scroll DAO to the Brazilian developer community, many of whom were not yet familiar with its purpose or governance process. We explored what it means to become a delegate, how decisions are made in the DAO, and how technical contributors can get involved.

Gabriella Mena, a member of the Scroll governance team, was present to speak about the vision for Scroll’s governance, the role of Local Nodes, and touched on collaborations like [ether.fi](https://www.ether.fi/).

### Developer Engagement

Florianópolis has increasingly become a hotspot for developers—often called the “Silicon Valley of Brazil.” During the event, we engaged in direct conversations with dozens of devs from local startups, research groups, and independent teams.

The most common theme was curiosity: many had heard of rollups but hadn’t had practical exposure to Scroll. After the event, several developers reached out asking how to integrate or experiment with Scroll-based tooling.
