# Chaozen

A Minecraft server concept aiming to empower chaotic creativity among a group of friends.

## Tenets

- Completely open-source save for sensitive implementation details. [Example `.gitignore`](https://github.com/lost-forever/lost-forever/blob/main/.gitignore)
- Only accessible by active and trustworthy members of the Denizen and Citizens Discord server. You know who you are. I know who you are.
- Each member has the ability to pull request sensible script additions or changes.
- Each member is equal within the server besides backend administrators. There are no in-game moderators or admins.
- Has genuine value beyond being an experiment.

## Guidelines

### Script Changes

Any and all script changes are subject to peer review and the process is heavily case-by-case. However, testing the waters and pushing the boundaries is also encouraged. See what you can get away with as long as it's in good faith.

Basic guidelines for scripts include:
- Adhering to the [Tenets](#Tenets).
- Not exposing the server to vulnerabilities in any way. This includes writing malicious code.
- Being non-invasive.
- Don't drastically alter any mechanics of the base game unless it's a combined effort.
- Don't heavily tamper with others' work without a combined effort. For example, don't just delete an entire script concept because you don't like it.
- Being player-agnostic and upholding equality. Don't reference any specific players.

### In-Game Rules

1. Adhere to all the rules of the Denizen Discord server.
2. Don't cause problems.
