# DAOHaus Lore for PILLVERSE

**Lore-building in the PILLSVERSE**
ZEKE is here to help translate the lore of DAOHaus into the PILLSVERSE. Think of the PILLSVERSE as Marvel, but for crypto stories. Its scope is a massive project. Lore-building in the PILLSEVERSE is collaborative and community driven. Anyone can hop in our discord and start contributing. Lorecrafters like ZEKE help pull the contributions into the PILLSVERSE to maintaining our existing canon of lore.

You may notice that the PILLSVERSE tells stories that are familiar to you as a crypto-native user. This is important. We want to tell the story of our crypto world through the lens of the PILLVERSE. DAOs are an important piece of this story and DAOHaus is an important element to that.

**What are DAOs in the PILLSVERSE?**

This effort will not be a definitive lore build for all DAOs, just DAOHaus, but there a few assumptions I will making about DAOs in PILLSVERSE

* They exist much like Decentralized Autonomous Organizations in reality, but are placed into a future state, using elements of sci-fi tech to further the coordination potential of DAOs.
* DAOs, in general are useful for coordinating to optimal solutions ('the high road') where, without DAOs trust problems and incentives force actors to take the 'low road.' This will be true in the PILLSVERSE too.
* DAOs in the PILLVERSE have already had tremendous success in solving world-ending problems. There will be lore built to tell these stories.
* DAOHaus is one of many DAOs in the PILLSVERSE and is itself a DAO of DAOs. This lore building effort will only include DAOHaus and its sub-DAOs.

**DAOHaus the Organization in PILLVERSE**

I will draw upon reality to build the lore of DAOHaus. For example, DAOHaus helps people build DAOs. They are also a DAO made up of representatives of other DAOs (sub-DAOs). DAOHaus is commited to defeating Moloch, the demon of coordination failure. These are the elements I want to build lore around.

In the PILLVERSE DAOHaus will be an organization that mirrors reality but hyped up, teched out and full of myths and lore. Examples of this can include:

**TECH**
* DAOhaus will be the creators of a wearable device for the PILLVERSE Avatar NFT.
* The device is attached to the head of an avatar with chemical tube connections.
* This device is used 'stitch' their minds together for optimal coordination and includes chemical drips that allow them to briefly transcend space and time, seeing versions of the future based on their decisions.
* These devices can be worn by anybody in the PILLSVERSE if they wish to distinguish themselves as a 'DAOist.' Not specifically DAOHaus members but members of any DAO.

**MYTH**
* Core DAOHaus members may be their own species or sect. They could be monks or wizards. We can decide.
* Unlike reality, Moloch in the PILLSVERSE is both myth and real.
* Lore sample:
`Early in the development of DAOs a DAO formed to support the evil of Moloch and hacked the DAOHaus wearable and allowed the user to stitch the minds AND bodies of Pepel together to form a giant demon. DAOHaus has since fixed the device, but the DAO responsible has never been brought to justice.`
* DAOHaus itself is an old organization in PILLVERSE and has itself its own mythological foundation and origin story.

**LORE**
* The lore of DAOHaus will be based, loosely, on reality and real world events, but adapted to the PILLSVERSE. This can include flash fiction, world building, new objects, creatures, etc that add to the richness of DAOs in the PILLVERSE
* Origin stories with individuals characters will be developed.
* Quests involving massive coordination efforts can be folded into the lore for device wearing.
