# Enable Remote Desktop on ASUS Ascent GX10 (Ubuntu / DGX OS)

**Step 1. Install Required Package**
Open a terminal on the GX10 and execute:

sudo apt update
sudo apt install gnome-remote-desktop -y

**Step 2. Open System Settings**
1. Click the Settings application.
2. Select System from the left-hand menu.
3. Click Remote Desktop.

**Step 3. Enable Remote Desktop Services**

1. Turn on Desktop Sharing.
2. Turn on Remote Control.

**Step 4. Configure Login Credentials**
1. Scroll down to Login Details.
2. Set and confirm the Password for remote access.

**Step 5. Connect from Another Device (Windows / macOS / Linux)**
1. On the remote device *(Windows, macOS, etc.)*, open a Remote Desktop client *(e.g., Remote Desktop Connect App or Windows App).*
2. Enter the following connection information:
* IP Address: GX10 device IP
* Username: GX10 system username
* Password: Password set in Login Details
3. Start the remote connection.
