# Wordle Words Minju, Hussain --- ## what we wanted to build pokedex project with pokemon API. we couldn’t think/find a compatible API that goes well with the Pokédex --- ## How We work ? we had an initial meeting to discuss the project and set the schedule to work in a asynchronous manner we set up a checkup meeting for Tuesday to see how things are going and to set further tasks. --- ## What we buliding? Wordle five letter word learning app. User can learn 5 letter words from this web app and also can check the definitions. --- ## What APIs we use word generator API & dictionary API --- ## user story / journey As wordle player, I would like to learn 5 letter words to enhance my vocabulary. I want to have a record of the words that I have learned/learning Filtered word like a-z or other way. Click the word, I want the definition of the word. --- ## What we can imporve next time API issues -> there was limit of request, if there was more time, I would like to create word API that sort words with length. sort A-Z button --> maybe next time build a toggle switch to make it clear for the user what they are actually toggling Clean our JS --> Our JS works but the code is a bit messy is not uniformed you can clearly see different style of coding within the same function --- ## Issues we Faced our API had a limit to requests so when tested it started to add empty string to our array which then was stored in our local storage. linking two API together. -How do you genrate a random word from the word API then automatically search it in the dictionary API
