5. Why are we doing this?
- Met with Ellad Tadmoor and Jane Greenberg last month
- They suggested that we add a PF section to the MatCore standard
- We discussed the advantages and disadvanges of adding PF to MatCore
- PF was thought to be a little out of scope
- Only methods that generate properties is what Ellad thought initially, but PF very much is that.
- Can't generate mechanical properties without microstructure!!!
