# **CAE analysis** ### Goal: make stress/static/dynamic load analysis in CAD system. Link to HachMd( in case of some additions, better to check by link, instead of file ): https://hackmd.io/NZAhyrBCQn6hcgdhhb6LPg?both ## Table of Contents [TOC] ### Some backgroung: **CAE areas covered include:** - Stress analysis on components and assemblies using Finite Element Analysis (FEA); - Thermal and fluid flow analysis Computational fluid dynamics (CFD); - Multibody dynamics (MBD) and Kinematics; - Analysis tools for process simulation for operations such as casting, molding, and die press forming; - Optimization of the product or process; CAE tools enhance safety, comfort and durability. ### In our case we will talking about 1) When I look on my mechanisms without loads, I see that the problem arise on a rod, near the gripper main part ![](https://i.imgur.com/dLMvete.png) 2) Plastic is ABS(all material for that gripper) 3) Determined Forces, we need to apply to the grippers grabbers, we will take from previous assignament( Dynamics ), so to each grabbers we need to apply 16.22H, we can apply 20 H in our case to give some safety margin, so just apply forces, without assumtions to put 4) When I look on that, I can see 2-3 solutions, all to 'help' the main rod, because as we can see that bending moment: - add some helper inside gripper(навправляющие) - increase already existing (направляющие) - increase the rod and make them after "бобышка" 1 solution - not for my case because not a lot of space inside the gripper to do anything. About 3rd solution, I implemented: ![](https://i.imgur.com/MfrYIEn.png) Add that part and what I get: Results now is better, yes some dissplacements, but not so huge. ![](https://i.imgur.com/swO2TjS.png)
