## 🏆 Who is SHE?

SHE redefines the paradigm of what it means to be an athlete and fan on the internet.

Shenanigan (aka SHE) is a decentralized NFT and ERC20 platform built on xDai designed for athletes to tokenize their accomplishments in a merit-driven, collectible economy. Fans will be able to directly invest in and empower their favorite athletes and their achievements. SHE enables athletes to harness their best monetary asset: themselves.

🥇 How Does It Work?

SHE brings forth opportunities never heard of in the traditional financial system. Each athlete powered by Web 3.0 (AKA "Dathlete") generates a personal DAO that functions as both a fan page and athlete investment platform. Accomplishments are documented and challenges are minted into collectible NFTs. Creation of an athlete's initial NFT will also mint personal ERC20 tokens that can be evaluated based on size of an athlete's fanbase, as well as their performance.

This enables Dathletes of all denominations to have fans invest directly in their future success, and decrease reliance on branding and sponsorships. It also allows fans to prospect on athletes for whom they see potential and realize gains in a way that completely disrupts the conventional sports collectible market.

SHE offers a LivePeer livestream for athletes to promote themselves and their accomplishments. Athletes will set challenges to complete via livestream to showcase and document personal growth. Viewers of the stream will be able to stake tokens or NFTs on the outcome of the challenge.

⛏ Infrastructure

[Shenanigan Headquarters](https://app.daohaus.club/dao/0x64/0x1a78159311d2c3cb9abe48938a97a5680865d217) was originally set up on the Aragon platform but has since migrated to DAOhaus. SHE uses [snapshot](https://snapshot.org/#/shedapp.eth) for Governance Voting to handle challenges, company financing, and project decisions. Shenanigan is set up under a single-person LLC wrapper via OpenLaw. SHE is currently verified through BrightID, Twitter and listed on [CoinGecko.](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/particle) SHE also created the BrightID Discord Bot to help with sybil resistance in our Discord.

🏆 Accomplishments
---

Since the inception of Shenanigan in June 2019, SHE has accomplished quite a bit. SHE was established as an LLC under OpenESQ known as "Shenanigan Tech LLC". Following the creation of the LLC, SHE's core dev team went to work and released [PRTCLE](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/particle) and a community reward with the help of [SourceCred](https://sourcecred.io/). Shortly after the creation of PRTCLE, the SHE team joined Panvala League. After joining Panvala league and being involved in multiple Gitcoin grants, the community has grown to 500 [Twitter](https://twitter.com/She_Dapp) followers and over 1,500 [Discord](https://discord.gg/8RbSrwRGBa) members. With SHE's mobile app nearing completion and PRTCLE reaching an all time high of $1.20, the hard work and community engagement shows. SHE welcomes you to join us, too!
