# EagleWatch Systems Handbook > "Enhancing Security, Empowering Surveillance." # Site Navigation: 1. Login to your EagleWatch Systems account using your credentials. 2. Once logged in, you will land on the dashboard, which provides an overview of your camera feeds, alerts, and system status. 3. Use the navigation menu or sidebar to access different sections of the platform, such as camera settings, event logs, user management, and more. 4. Explore the platform by clicking on the respective sections or options of interest. # Camera Setup: ## Making your camera map 1. Login to your EagleWatcg Systems Account as an Administrator 2. Navigate to the "MapConfig" section. 3. You should see 2 options: a. Edit Map b: Export Current Map ### Edit map Once this button is clicked you will be taken to the following site geojson.io, this is a 3rd party application that will make it esier to copy the json data to configure your map. **NOTE:** If you already have a map .json file made and uploaded to EW servers, you can click "Export Curret Map" on the main page, and drag and drop the downloaded file onto the geojson.io website. This will load all pre existing data. 1: Once the page has loaded, find your location by using the search bar in the top right of the map. #### Using Pins and Polygons ![](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/rydKDUVtn.png) : Activate by either clicking the icon or pressing **`m`**. The next spot on the map you click will add a marker. This marker will act as your camera. Once placed, click on the marker to pull up a Properties box: ![](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/SyPbd8NY3.png) You will have to two more rows. The first row should be the Name of the camera, The second the IP of the camera, and the theird the Floor the camera is on, you must follow this format (case sensitive): | Name | | | --- | -------- | | IP | | | --- | -------- | | Floor | | | --- | -------- | * Example ![](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/rJBYFL4t2.png) After, just click save and move on to the other cameras. -------- ![](https://geojson.io/img/polygon.svg): The Polygon tool will act as the cameras bounding box, this helps show the coverage area and the direction the camera is pointing in, this is activated by clicking the icon or by pressing **`p`**. After activated, click on a pin ("Camera") to start the first point of the polygon, you may close out of the pin Properties if it appears. Then you can place multiple points to show what the camera can see. Once done, you can either click your starting point, or double click. In first columns type **IP**, and in the second type the IP Adress of the camera it responds too. If these do not match up, it will not show up on the Alert Map Example of the **wrong** format: ![](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/rkXjpUVFn.png) The IP's do not match up, meaning it will be connected to the wrong camera or none at all. The camera __will__ appear, but the bounding box **will** not! ### Import and save / Export Once you finish Step 3.a you are able to copy your entire .JSON from the https://geojson.io/ site. ![](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/B1q3CU4Fn.png) Copy it all, and go back to the EagleWatch Website, click Import on the "MapConfig" page, and a box will appear, paste all the entire .JSON script and then hit "Import and Save". This will delete your old copy, and replace it with the new map information. Check your AlertMap to see if It updated correctly. # Plugin Management: 1. Login to your EagleWatch Systems account as an administrator. 2. Navigate to the plugin management section. 3. Find the desired plugin and toggle the switch to enable or disable it as per your requirements. 4. Save the changes, and the plugin will be activated or deactivated accordingly. **NOTE:** Some may require API keys, please enter the key before you enable, otherwise an error will occur. # User Administration: 1. Login to your EagleWatch Systems account as an administrator. 2. Go to the user administration section. 3. Click on the "Dashboard" button, at the top of the page click "Users Account Requests" 4. Confirm the provided user information, such as name, email, and access privileges. 5. Save the changes, and the new user will receive access. # User Account Requests 1: Provide your personal URL to anyone who needs access. 2: Ask them to click the "Request Account" button in the top right 3: Once filled out and submited, it should show up on the "Users Account Requests" tab, stated in the previous section. # Admin Administration: To add new administrators on the EagleWatch Systems platform, please contact the support team. They will assist you in assigning admin privileges to specific users based on your requirements. # Closing: Congratulations on completing the EagleWatch Systems Handbook!
