# first midterm exam

- Even parity : the number of 1’s in the code word is even.
- Odd parity : the number of 1’s in the code word is odd.

- D/A converter:將 digital(數位) 訊號轉換成 analog(類比) 訊號 e.g. 麥克風在將聲音擴大放出時，藉由 D/A converter 將擴大音量的數位訊號轉成類比訊號
- fan-out:
- 能推動的標準附載數
- 一個 output 出來的時候接到了幾個 input 的 load
- gate propagation: 從 input 經過 logic gate 到 output 所花費的時間
