# Hack For Freedom Submission ## Name of Project # Research Collective ## Project Description The Research Collective is a community at the intersection of crypto and DIY bio. For Hack for Freedom, we connected Aragon to a Discourse forum. We focused on two use cases: Applying for a moderator position, which initiates a token request. Submitting an experimental proposal, which initiates a standard vote with JSON data crammed into the vote's details. Both of these can be initiated from the Discourse thread. We hope to continue developing this into a 'decentralized institutional review board' for citizen and pseudonymous scientists. ## Project Team [Tristan Roberts](https://github.com/jierdin) Product / Front End [Ian Philips](https://github.com/orgs/ResearchCollective/people/IanPhilips) Back End [Pradhmuna Pancholi](https://github.com/PradhumnaPancholi) Front End ## A prototype (code or no-code) Main Submission (Discourse/Aragon Backend) https://github.com/ResearchCollective/DiscourseAragonConnectNode Discourse Plugin Frontend https://github.com/ResearchCollective/discourse-aragon **Pre-existing Repo** for React website *this link points to a branch that contains work only done during this hackathon* https://github.com/ResearchCollective/ResearchCollective/tree/hackforfreedom [Link to Video Demo](https://youtu.be/tyE-6NtMCW4) ## Beta-product page + lead capture url [ResearchCollective.io](https://researchcollective.io) ## Pitch-deck [Pitch Deck](https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/16ukIjYRFOGal9BN4aYr942aYr1-9kDYrHVlPd_D6Yoc/edit?usp=sharing)
