# Octopus Migration

1. Scale down octopus DB deployment to 0
2. Scale down octopus server deployment to 0
3. ensure that the db volume gets dismounted (we check this in the aws console)
4. run cdk thing to create new role for OCtopus on EKS
5. (re) deploy the .deploy folder to spin up Octopus on the new cluster
6. Map the octopus domain to the new cluster's loadbalance in route53
