# Looking into CICD pipeline minutes You can [access what our usage quota](https://gitlab.com/groups/ahau/-/usage_quotas#pipelines-quota-tab) is for our GitLab pipeline (you need owner level permissions to be able to view). ## Current state: - We use the free version of Gitlab, this gives us 400 free CICD minutes per month - As of 24 Nov, we have **used 312 minutes** with **88 minutes remaining** for 6 days of the rest of the month. ![](https://i.imgur.com/OlP27kM.png) - Based on our usage, the ssb-ahau repo is what is using nearly half of the free monthly minutes available to us. ![](https://i.imgur.com/nYgwnig.png) - Since September 2022, the pipeline usage has increased significantly. ![](https://i.imgur.com/gBdHpE4.png) ## Considerations: - With 3 new developers joining Ahau, Cherise, Mix, Ben and Engie developing across our apps, this is going to increase our pipeline minute usage considerably. - $10 will get us 1000 more minutes per month, it's hard to say if this will be enough to cover us monthy by month though I think in these early stages this should be fine however, once we ramp up development whether this will continued to cover us. - There is a oneline CICD update that could be applied all our apps so that tests are auto run on draft or PR's only, and in production. - This does disrupt developer flow as you'll get to PR and realise your code changes have broken tests if you haven't created a draft PR but we make savings on pipeline minutes. Ben and Mix - happy to take direction from either of you knowing this.
