We continued using the Lessons environment and implement a Teams-based procedure for the final assessment which was an examination at Home. I implemented an automated questions and solutions generator (fixed questions, varying numbers) for 4826 using Python and Markdown. We used it for assignment questions and for some exam questions.

* "Globalisme en taal in die hoër onderwys: Redes vir die keuse van Engels as onderrigtaal" (Tydskrif vir Geesteswetenskappe)
A further three papers were submitted but rejected.
Two co-authored chapters in a book on media industry concentration in South Africa were finalized and accepted for a book to appear at Unisa Press but publication was delayed for operational reasons.
#### Project leadership
Recorded and published several podcasts for the Institute for Technology and Network Economics as well as popular publications on the Institute website. Submitted as co-researcher application for funding for international project Global Media and Internet Concentration under stewardship of Carleton University in Canada to the Canadian SSHRC.

In order to compensate for the inability of my co-author to travel to Pretoria, as planned, I instituted virtual office hours with her of two hours per day for one month where we went online and worked while in the same virtual room on Jitsi.
I experimented intensively with online video-conferencing tools, including with graduate students.

Several colleagues and students were assisted in the use of HackMD and Markdown in order to overcome the difficulty of complex LaTeX and difficult installations. This helps them to type perfectly adequate mathematical expressions. Used with success i.a. in collaborating on documents for DSC4826.
