# Introduction The aim of the bootcamp materials guidebook is to provide access to information and exercises on various UX methods that might be used to support the group projects. Students who already have experience of these methods might use the materials as a reminder. Students who are less familiar might use these to quickly gain important knowledge about the methods in order to get started in using them. In all cases, the methods themselves are less important than the insights and especially the new user requirements that can be found by using them. The guidebook also recaps some important points from the course lectures. For example, **[here](/H1Ctevau6) can be found the usability and UX goals that we used in this course** as a reference and **we ask that all students use this same terminology within coursework, or explain deviations**. Please start navigating from the menu to learn about and practice using the different methods. A few of the 'summary of' UX methods was a collaboration between myself and AI - AI created the text but I have edited it so it says exactly what I want and believe to be true. ###### tags: `introduction'
{"title":"Introduction","description":"The datascape referred to in this guidebook is conceived as a collection of data sets that are somehow related to each other - by location, time, theme and so on. By thinking about data as existing within a connected data landscape, we might be able to use these connections to make it easier to navigate both within and across data sets. The ultimate aim is to provide ways of making open data easier to use.","contributors":"[{\"id\":\"ee1fcd85-b7f2-4664-8be1-26afb7b6d277\",\"add\":1695,\"del\":523,\"latestUpdatedAt\":null}]"}
