# Turing Students 25/26 - Events and Opportunities This page contains a list of upcoming events and opportunties organised by the Turing or from around the Turing network, that may be of interest to students. These events are free to attend but have limited capacity. If your plans change and you can no longer attend, please cancel your registration so that other students can benefit from the opportunity. Registration includes a complementary sandwich lunch and use of venue facilities throughout the day. Each event agenda will change depending on attendee presentations, but, typically, each day includes a networking session, student presentations and lunch. Click [here](https://www.turing.ac.uk/events/phd-student-presentations-and-networking-day-october-2025) for more information ## **Data Study Group - January 2026** ## These are intensive 'collaborative hackathons' hosted at The Alan Turing Institute (or online), which bring together organisations from industry, government and the third sector, with talented multi-disciplinary researchers from academia. Organisations act as Data Study Group 'Challenge Owners', providing real-world problems and datasets to be tackled by small groups of highly talented, carefully selected researchers.
