A celebration of two of the richest cultures on earth will collide at CommBank Stadium, Sydney for the
annual event, with three big fixtures kicking off from 4.30pm AEDT with Mixed Touch Football,
followed by the Women’s All Stars and Men’s All Stars.
Joseph Tapine scored what proved to be the winner on the occasion, but won’t take part in tonight’s
clash, with Royce Hunt and James Fisher-Harris, with the latter co-captaining the side alongside Dane
Gagai.

There’s plenty of star power in the forwards too with 2024 Dally M Medal winner Olivia Kernick
named in the second row along with Mahalia Murphy. Meanwhile, Quincy Dodd and Keilee Joseph,
will play hooker and prop respectively. All four have been named in the Vegas-bound Jillaroos squad.
It marks the first time the Indigenous All Stars have played since 2015, with Shai Bolton, Kysaiah
Pickett, Tyson Stengle Charlie Cameron, Izak Rankine, Tim Kelly and Steven May among the names to
line up for the star-studded side coached by Xavier Clarke.
A couple of set restarts helped the Sea Eagles mount pressure on the South Sydney defensive line, but
the try itself was too easy. It was simple catch and pass from the Sea Eagles, with Lehi Hopoate
holding the ball up just long enough to draw in the final defenders, before offloading to Willett on the
wing.
Kodi Nikorima, who scored in the Maori side’s last All Star victory, will don the No.7 jersey, with
Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad rounding out the spine at five-eighth.
Standing in Gagai’s way of leading the Maoris to victory is an exciting Indigenous All Stars side with
speed to burn right across the park.
