# Comic #4: Meeting 0

## Agenda

- Setup coms
- Account house keeping
- PM setup
- High-level overview

## Coms

- Spin up a dedicated Discord server to be shared by the comic, UG, and auction teams so all coms and assets are in the same place
- Gitcoin peeps can be invited in to observe
- We could play with roles to provide transparency to the work flow
- Channels dedicated to:
- Account issues
- PM flows
- Artist/visual assets
- Design/visual systems, layout
- Conceptual/lore
- Gitcoin public goods chat
- Transmedia initiatives with other workstreams
- etc.
- What kind of presence is desired (from us) for the Gitcoin/PGF channels?
- The comic team will certainly need more time than this 30 min meeting for creative ideation.
- Perhaps we separate essential business to make these meeting efficient and schedule those separately?
- Will Colton/auction need separate syncs or with to join?
- Does Scott, Annika, or other Gitcoiners wish to use this time for anything specific? If so, let's priorize this.

## Accounts

- Collectively decide on how funds for the comic and auction teams will be received. Defer to plor.
- Shared multisig? Separate for teams?
- Shared Moloch-style DAO? Separate?
- Probably ditch the old and spin up a new?
- Kyle and Kevin are members of previous DAO, so should probably start over.
- Which network? Mainnet or Gnosis? Pros/cons? Cost vs convenience?
- A project DAO allows for increased transparency, especially if we setup a notifications bot.
- Will be used for artist, letterer, and production payments.
- **Should we join the GitcoinDAO?** Observed some chatter in the Gitcoin/PGF channels that makes me think we should?

## Project Management

- Refer to [roadmap from Comic #3](https://miro.com/app/board/o9J_lkNldaQ=/?invite_link_id=991772900551) and [Trello board from Comic #3](https://trello.com/b/SMVdTRoz/moloch-comic-3).
- We will create a new/updated boards populated with new tasks ASAP to get started.
- We will decide on schedule ASAP.
- Milestones and final deliverable will be coordinated with the UG and Impact DAO book releases, owned by Owocki. Dates TBD. We can get started immediately.
- Should also align with [upcoming ETH conventions/events](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1aRCWeiSkT5gp3NKyiBouSz84N62F4HBfGbAG10mp4Ik/edit#gid=1105286979), especially if Gitcoin has a presence.

- Will setup a repo to hold all previous assets from comics #1, #2, & #3, with an index, to be shared on the project Discord.

## High-level Overview

- UG meetings will also be recurring on Wednesdays ([notes available here for anyone interested](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1OwfTLUnXDq7DCkpSkzWok559hN7XoRVFtPkgIV-9YYQ/edit?usp=sharing)). Central coms will help coordinate.
- Owocki's *Impact DAOs* book will be used to curate future comic issues.
- Comic #4 will be a sequel to #3: more RaidGuild and Phantasmagoric Moloch.
- The sequel will reduce coordination costs, abbreviate the sprint, allow us to further expand on existing assets, and jump into art production faster.
- TW has already begun outlining a narrative arch to consider. It's going to be mind bending! But details are still TBD, of course.
- Storyline TL;DR:
- TW will provide a detailed narrative overview ASAP, to serve as a *provisional guide* to start conversations.
- Work will really begin with an initial design sprint with the core team, TBD.
