--- ###### tags: `DAOhaus` --- # Camp Fire Script 6-17-22 ### Paladins, Alchemists, Rangers, oh my! It has been a turbulent couple of weeks as we hear that horrific high-pitched squeel of Ethereum approaching triple digits. Sometimes it feels like the sky is falling... but we know better than to run around like chickens with our heads cut off - like Chicken Little, for those of you aged enough to know that reference. On the contrary, we have rounded up the wagons to focus on stabilizing morale in all of our internal operations. Our aligned and carefully coordinated human efforts are truly inspiring, even as they remain a work in progress. The Paladins are dedicated to the noble fight, keeping their heads above the muck of uncertainty and disorientation to light the way through these dark heretical times. They have been generating and contemplating a series of proposals over the last few weeks, a kind of triage for how we might collectively respond to these bear market conditions. Paladins are using their white magic to focus the attention of our DAOists into their own respective areas of... focus. Compounded focus, focus on focus, focus is as focus does, focal points all the way down. We are focusing on what to focus on next while others remain focused on our primary focus: the product focus! While everyone around us seem to be focused on the charts, we're focused on matters of the **heart** (lol). We're also focused on the **arts**. That is, the arcane arts, the alchemical arts. Alchemists are bubbling up to the occassion to contemplate short- and long-term financial strategies for sustaining and regenerating our DAO treasury through the combined efforts of the working groups. We continue to explore numerous interesting partnership opportunities, experiment with radtastic new primitives, and stir the cauldron of the mysterious prebiotic soup called Uberhaus. The HAUS token might be depressed, but our Alchemists are frothing at the mouth as they summon divine allies and visionary incantations through the alembic of cool calculated cryptoeconomics. Rangers have been undergoing some radical pivots as we shift attention inwards, to nurture the supple Haus body with cooing singsong and glossalalic poetics. As the communication guild of the DAO, the possessed evangilists of the DAOhaus oracle, we have been meditating on how to reconfigure our efforts to get lean and apply our crazed liturgies in best service to the other circles and the DAOhaus community at large. Some of us will be moving away from our soothsaying, vigil craft, and calligraphy to join our commrades in the trenches, rendering clear documentation and wayfinder maps out of the esoteric mysteries of the developer code base. DAOhaus continues to dream wildly, to ruminate deeply, to swim in the reverie of how our products and culture might disseminate value and strengthen coordination throughout the ecosystem. We know that the Moloch contracts and the tools we build on top of them continue to be the most significant - dare I say *revolutionary* - artifacts for combatting the incessant barage of Molochian coordination failures attacking us from all sides. This is the moment when we all will be tested. Although it seems like the fog of war is closing in all around us, we continue to hack our way through the murky wilderness. Don't lose hope!
