**Shroud re-signs with Twitch** ![](https://i.imgur.com/jn4ngmM.png) We all remember one of the bigger Twitchers that left Twitch for Mixer. But if you don't: Shroud is a former CS:GO professional and is currently most known for playing different shooters on high tier level on-stream. While he left Twitch to go to Mixer in October of 2019, Mixer has been shut down earlier this summer and Shroud became a free agent to sign with a new platform. People were speculating that he would either sign with YouTube gaming or re-sign with Twitch. And well, yesterday, August 11th 2020, the official announcement happened on Twitter.

Welcome home, @shroud. pic.twitter.com/tNuC2NdL30
— Twitch (@Twitch) August 11, 2020
His former professional career started in 2015 where he became first with Cloud9 in the ESL ESEA Pro League Season 1. They went on to become 2nd in the Finals. He stayed within the main line-up of Cloud9 for 2 years, where-after he decided to stop playing professionally and focus on streaming. We can't wait to see what he'll be able to offer with his return to the biggest streaming platform currently available!
