# 4337Mafia educational videos and tutorials series ## Project Abstract: One of the biggest pain points regarding AA and 4337 is the lack of clear information and content for builders who want to get involved in this space. We ourselves encountered frustrations recently while wanting to spin up a small project that leveraged wallet abstraction but could not find any good resources on the project. This was the basis for a video content series called "Account Abstraction Afterhours" organized by Mirko and Francesco. ## Objectives We are interested in creating a series of videos, workshops, panels, as well as beginner and advanced tutorials that people can easily follow. Each piece of content will see the participation of different industry professionals who are heavily involved in Account Abstraction. We have gathered interest in participating in this content series from top thought leaders at different companies/foundations such as EF, ConsenSys, Biconomy, zkSync, Starknet, Argent, and Ledger. We are going to also leverage the ownership and branding of the 4337Mafia group, which at the moment of writing this proposalg is the largest community of professional discussing about 4337 and Account Abstraction. The main audience will be developers, but there is also room to have more end-user/enterprise-focused content. Our goal is to onboard at least a few hundred developers to this technology and create a strong community of passionate people behind it. ## Outcomes As devrels for MetaMask and ConsenSys, we travel and speak to a lot of developers, and one of the most common feedback we get around building Account Abstraction tools is the lack of content online. While the proposal from Yoav & co. does a great job of explaining the intended outcome, there is a serious lack of good resources about this topic. We see education as the only path forward to have a new wave of developers building wallets, infrastructure, etc. that integrates account abstraction and serve as the basis for the next chapter of web3. ## Grant Scope: We plan to have a series of 15+ videos, tutorials, blog posts, and the creation of a Discord/Telegram community, which will serve as the base for a future DAO. ## Project Team: **Mirko Garozzo, Developer Evangelist at MetaMask.** https://www.linkedin.com/in/umirkogarozzo/ Involved for almost 7 years in the Ethereum community, I was a blockchain engineer before combining my passion about web3 and building community and becoming a developer evangelist for MetaMask/ConsenSys. **Francesco Andreoli, head of community at ConsenSys** https://www.linkedin.com/in/francescoandreoli/ Francesco is a serial entrepreneur and a well-known person in the web3 industry. He often organizes events, moderates panels, and speaks at various events across the globe (most recently India and Denver). **Mikhail Naidoo, Founder of 4337Mafia** https://twitter.com/4337mafia Involved in the Ethereum ecosystem for 7 years and worked for Commonwealth, Polygon, MIH Ventures, Webaverse and SushiSwap. Mikhail now works at Pimlico, an account abstraction infrastructure company as the head of Marketing and community. We both plan to work around 15-20 hours each per week on this project. We are in the fortunate position of traveling a lot for our work and meeting often in person with the aforementioned industry leaders, so we could combine these events for recording video content in person to ensure video quality is at the highest standard and same format across the series. Events we will be participating in the next 6 months: EthTokyo, EthInstabul, EthToronto, Seoul, EthCC, EthLATAM, Permissionless, EthNYC. ## Background: As founder of 4337Mafia, Mikhail is heavily involved in the AA community, as well as currently working in building infrastructure with Pimlico. 4337Mafia has currently 600+ people and it is becoming the main hub for people that wants to be active in this space. Mirko and Francesco are both active members of the 4337Mafia on Telegram and can provide references from people at most companies active in the space. Recently, we organized two AAA (Account Abstraction Afterhours) events in Denver and Paris. They were both big success with both events being 5x oversubscribed and hitting venue capacity within 30mins. We are also involved in discussions about AA at various levels inside ConsenSys, as well as actively participating in workshops and panels where AA is the main topic. You can learn more about our AAA events at the following links: https://lu.ma/accountabstractionafterhours https://twitter.com/ethermiami/status/1631347735273279489 https://twitter.com/biconomy/status/1630777657272176645 https://twitter.com/ConsenSys/status/1630655536965320704 ## Methodology Our goal is to produce at least 15 videos, 5 interactive tutorials, and between 5 and 10 blog posts about AA that we will upload to various platforms. The video content will include generic intros to AA for developers, workshops, and panels (of 4-5 people) that we will record in person. We have professional equipment that we use to shoot content for MetaMask that we can borrow, as well as a good network of videomakers who will help with the final retouching before uploading content. We will also create interactive tutorials that will guide developers through building specific use cases or pieces of architecture that leverage AA. In addition, we will produce between 8 and 10 blog posts, which will be posted in the main community channels on Discord and Telegram. ## Timeline Our plan is to shoot around 3-4 videos per month and produce at least 2 blog posts. The interactive tutorials should take around 1-2 weeks each to create. Overall, we expect to complete the entire series of content within 3-4 months. ## Budget We estimate that the total cost will be around $50,000. This includes: * Video maker costs: $2,000 per video * 15 = **$30,000** * Blog post copywriting: $750 per post * 10 = **$7,500** * Interactive tutorial building cost: $1,500-$2,000 * 5 = **$7,500-$10,000** * Software, blog hosting, and indirect costs: **$2,500** **Requested budget: $50,000**
