I have been working as a senior software engineer at 2 companies for totally 8 years. The first one was a semiconductor company and my duties included driver porting, tools development/maintenance, hardware logical verification and validation not only in x86 system but in embedded system. My present company is a manufacturer of industrial networking equipment, and I am responsible for designing debugging, porting, defining, developing, testing and maintaining firmware of industrial management Ethernet switch. I have always been interested in technology which was why I chose to follow this career path. I studied at NCNU college, where I gained my first level diploma in CSIE.

5. What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Strengths
To be punctual (能守時) – 能準時。我是一個守時的人，我總是會提早抵達並準時完成我的工作。我之前的工作總是訂有許多期限“deadlines”（你必須在某時間之前完成某些事情），我確信在所有的工作方面我都能有條不紊的完成並遵守“adhered to”（堅持）守時的原則。
To be a team-player (有團隊精神)– 可與其他人在團隊中合作。我認為我自己很有團隊精神。我喜歡與他人共事，我知道當大家一同工作，並有良好溝通協調時，工作會變得更有效率、更容易。
To be ambitious (有企圖心) – 有目標。我很有企圖心！我總是會訂立目標，以此激勵我努力工作！到目前為止，我已經在我的訓練、教育及過去工作中完成了不同階段的目標，現在，我正繼續追尋讓我成長且
提昇我自己的方法。
To take initiative (主動、自動自發) – 不用別人要求便能主動去做事。工作時，我總是能自動自發做事。當我看到有事情需要做時，我不用等人指示，我就會自己去把它完成。我堅信人就是要主動才容易成功，你也一定需要我這種特質的人。
To be proactive (積極主動)– 積極去做事並使之完成 我是非常積極主動的。當我想做一件事時，我就會去完成它！我喜歡看到結果，在這個行業中，能積極主動並對自己的行為負責是非常重要的。
To keep your cool(保持冷靜) – 在發生任何突發狀況都能保持鎮靜、冷靜。 我認為身為一個記者，能隨時保持冷靜是非常重要的。記者的工作給人的壓力是很大的！但我有一個優點就是我遇到事情不會慌，我總是能保持冷靜！我不會讓壓力及緊張情緒影響到我，反而在這時候，壓力還能促使我達成目標跟保持專注力！ 這裡還有一些其它單字你可能可以派上用場：

- Weaknesses
- I sometimes am slower in completing my tasks compared to others because I really want to get things right. I will double or sometimes triple-check documents and files to make sure everything is accurate (correct).
- I am not good at public speaking; I tend to get too nervous to speak smoothly in front of people. Therefore, I joined the English Club at my school recently in order to get better at speaking in front of the crowd.

When I worked as a waitress, I had to deal with rude and picky customers frequently. I had to set my emotions aside and tried to talk to them patiently. From these experiences, I have learned to be a good communicator and to interact with people more appropriately.

With eight-year working experience and two-year working experience in the industry and the professional skills I have, I am confident that I would be a great addition to your company. I can adapt to the new environment quickly, and as an outgoing and easygoing person, I can work well with the team. I am passionate about this job and am ready to contribute my strength and knowledge.

12. How do you handle stress and pressure?
I actually perform better when I am under pressure. I find myself more productive and effective when I am in a challenging circumstance. When I do projects, the stress of deadline makes me more concentrated and helps me complete my work faster.

Everytime, when I am under pressure, I go workout. I find it really makes me relaxing.

I am interested in this job because I like teaching and interacting with children. It is important that you are passionate about your work and enjoy what you do. I believe that this job can help enhance and refine my profession. Other than that, after knowing the company’s mission statements are in line with my values, your company is the best choice.
