Most of our new members join thanks to our bi-annual Kick-Offs, where we introduce the project to all interested students. The next Kick-Off is right around the corner, on the 10th of May. The beginning of a new semester is the best time to recruit, so we want to ask whether we could briefly promote the project at the beginning of your lecture. MOVE consists of more than 70 students of various disciplines working on the third generation of our satellites. This satellite is going to be launched in 2024. For this mission, we develop not only the satellite itself but also a sensor that will be used to detect sub-millimetre space debris particles. If you are interested, there are three PowerPoint-slides in the appendix that describe the project and show the different areas we work in. We would love to present the project in person. Otherwise, it would also be fantastic if you could just show the slides. Should you be inclined to help but prefer other ways of support, we are open to suggestions! We would love to hear from you. Best regards, Felix Firmbach --- *Email to send to Profs/TAs:* Dear XX, My name is Timm Plagge, and I am the electronics lead for Exploration, a subproject of the WARR sutdent society. Our teams draw in a variety of students from different backgrounds, including electronics, software and the natural sciences, and we are interested in promoting ourselves to students in your class. The WARR is one of the largest and oldest student groups at TUM. Each subproject specializes in a space system, such as rockets, rovers and satellites, which students design and manufacture themselves. Some teams have a strong focus on software and embedded systems, so we are looking to recruit students in related fields. Our next General Kick-Off is on the 25th of October, with individual team presentations taking place the following two weeks, and we would like to invite as many people as possible. If you are interested, we have attached a PDF flyer and some PowerPoint slides which could be shared with your class. We are also open to presenting in person to your classes. Thank you for your time. Kind regards, Timm Plagge --- *Send to student chats* The WARR General Kick-Off takes place next week! Come join us on the 25th Oct The Wissenschaftliche Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Raketentechnik und Raumfahrt (WARR) is a student society that focuses on space engineering applications. If you are interested in rockets, rovers or satellites, you are at the right place! We take in students from all disciplines and levels of experience, and offer training to help people get started. Our kick off is next Tuesday, and each subteam will have their own presentation in the days afterwards. If you can't make it, feel free to send us an email or speak to one of our members. https://warr.de/en/kickoff/ --- *Student chat attempt 2*
