# Lost Crew - Medbay+Cargo Respawns
Medical can, on cooldown, order (with money) or using the medbay cargo console, buy a spaced body, with random damage, some gear and a random boon.
**On defibrillation, a random ghost is prompted to enter the body.**
(Do we refuse defib if there's no ghosts, or let the body revive and let ghosts join later? Maybe give them like a little Frankenstein-bed with electrodes connected to their head so ghosts can hop in.)
**Damage**
Bodies spawn with random, but realistic damage, but tending to the more fucked side of the spectrum. Anything from changeling husks to a lizard nugget, to keep it challenging and get people to be creative.
**Gear**
They arrive with a little DNA-locked box with some standard job gear, to help push the new person to do a job. Maybe an ID? Don't wanna rob the HoP of content.
**Boons**
To encourage people to actually become a randomly new person, they can receive a random 'boon' (random cool powers or aspects). Can probably be pretty strong. Some idea's:
- Catastrophic Regen
- Technokinesis
- Second Life
- Arachnoform
- Reactive Steel-Skin
- Chameleon Lizard (with like yoshi tongue or something)
Can throw these in as organs, non-standard species, trauma's, mutations, whatever. Probably make them only manifest upon revival to prevent looting and ditching the body.
# Why Good for the game?
Medbay is pretty reliant on people dying or getting hurt for job content. Most games this gives plenty of content, but not always, such as low threat shifts and especially if there's medbots or free healing chems. This gives them the chance to stay busy, use cool organs and surgeries and get people back into the game.
This is unintentionally also amazing content for the coroner, who, unless they're constantly stealin bodies from medbay to Frankenstein-revive or experimenting on the living, can get pretty boring. This lets them passively contribute to the round by playing with corpses, without distracting them from their primary job of sitting in morgue.
It also lets medical do surgeries and improvements that most people are too impatient for, but since there's nobody in the body until it gets revived it isn't a problem. You aren't keeping anyone out of the game so you can go wild with enhancements.
