# How to add Orthanc server in MediQPACS

Both servers need to add the server information of the other server, following steps to set :
1. Please confirm your MediQPACS Server settings (Title/IP/Port) first. Click **["admin" → My NAS]**

2. Write down your MediQPACS Server **Title, Internal IP, and Port**.

3. Please change your Orthanc Server settings ( Ubuntu default path : /etc/orthanc/orthanc.json ), and follow the below image to add the MediQPACS Server, fill in the MediQPACS Server Title, Internal IP and Port in the corresponding place. EX : **"DEMO" : ["DEMO", "192.168.55.15", 22222]**

4. Go to the **AE Management** screen.
5. Click .
6. Specify the information for the new AE.

7. **Optional:** Click **Echo & Verify** to test the AE connection to your PACS server.
8. Click **Add**. The AE is added to the corresponding screen.
9. Locate the PACS server that you want to import images from.
**Note:** You cannot import images from a modality.
10. Then you can import the DICOM file. Click **Action → Import now**

11. Select the type and time period of images to import.

12. Click **Import now**. The status will show in background tasks.
