# PMD Hackathon
## Scope 1 PMDCo mid level (general scope)
- process history of objects in time (all processes the object ever took part in)
- including input, output, qualities
- compare planned process and conducted processes, including setpoints and measurements
- manufactured material entities (which are created by human intent) and non-manufactured material entities (e.g. meteroid material, ore)
- including their qualities
- devices and their calibration certificates
- "portion of"
- complex processes (object to object, object to data, data to data)
**PMDco material manufacturing ontology**
-> input: material
-> output: material
Material transformation process histories of material entities (both manufactured and non-manufactured).
And the process plan specifications.
Example: recipe and process of egg boiling, manufacturing
**PMDco material characterization ontology**
-> input: material
-> output: information artifacts
(measurement and analysis)
Processes to measure qualities of materials.
Example:
- **measuring** the egg size (as a data item)
- **plan** to classify egg as organic eggs
- **specifying methods** to classify
**PMDco material qualities ontology?**
Example: specifiying the qualities (e.g. hardness, size, volume)
**PMDco material domain ontology**
- brown eggs: have color=brown
- bio egg: has history of only bio
- ostrich egg: size=xxxxxxl
- iso12345 egg: conforms definition in iso12345
- easter egg: has function fun for kids
**PMDco workflow ontology?**
-> input: information artifacts
-> output: information artifacts
**PMDco simulation ontology?**
**PMDco logistics ontology?**
## Scope 2 Reference Ontology/ies
- Identifier types, product names regulated names like "Werkstoffbezeichnungen" which have constrains on material composition and
- classification and approval
## Scope 3 (usage and shapes)?
- Description of an atomistic simulation
- Description of an FEM simulation (--> What has been simulated here? )
- Documentation of a tensile test according to DIN EN 6892
- Documentation of the heat treatment of a steel rod
-

q
- "art" is out of scope
- "dataset" is out of scope, but the general concept of an information entity is needed
- maybe related to https://github.com/General-Process-Ontology/ontology

## Features
## Discussions postponed / things to keep in mind
- "Core"-ontology? ontologies? --> Reference Ontologies? Mid-Level? Shapes / Design patterns as connection?
- Final list of cores
