# Suggested texts to use in your community As you may know, the current invasion of Ukraine by Russia and its allies are a dividise topic as any political topic. Because of that, I'd like to suggest some texts that you can publish in your community. This can avoid personal attacks, xenophobia, etc. ### Text 1 As you may know, Ukraine was invaded by Russia on 24 February, 2022. [If you truly have no idea of what's going on, check this post in r/OutOfTheLoop by u/Isentrope](https://www.reddit.com/r/OutOfTheLoop/comments/sqhno0/megathread_whats_going_on_with_ukraine_and_russia/). Shortly after the first reports of attacks in Ukraine, many subreddits decided to show support for Ukraine by changing their banner to the flag of Ukraine. We are going to join these communities in supporting peace by adding the flag of Ukraine. We know that this act will not save lives; it will not spare bullets; it will not shield Ukrainians from explosions. However, if one netizen can look at it and be distracted or even relieved for a few seconds in a sense of Unity, it will probably be worth it. We, [the subreddits showing support to Ukraine/SUBREDDIT_NAME], do not in any shape form advocate or call for indiscriminate violence against civilians or ethnic groups of the parties involved. **We are not giving encouraging xenophobia against the Russian people** - **We are not celebrating or promoting war** - If anything, we wish that the major parties involved call for a cease-fire and begin diplomatic talks. We are not asking for blood to be shed. ``` As you may know, Ukraine was invaded by Russia on 24 February, 2022.
