[Tezurehunt](https://tezurehunt.xyz) is a [tz1and](https://tz1and.com) based 3D NFT treasurehunt game.

## How it works

* Create an original artwork
* [Mint a 3D model](https://www.tz1and.com/mint) of your art on tz1and
* Place the NFT inside of a [tz1and Place](https://www.tz1and.com/auctions)
* Set the price to 0 tez. This makes the NFT uncollectible and prevents bots or blockchain sleuths from sniping the NFT when you hide it.
* After you've got your NFT placed in its hiding spot, tweet something like this:
> *It's @tezurehunt time! I hid a 3D NFT of [insert title of artwork] inside of @tz1and. The first person to comment on + quote tweet this post with a screenshot of the hidden NFT in its hiding spot, wins!*

So that people know what they are hunting for, include a screenshot of your NFT from your inventory in this tweet. (preferably not a screenshot of the NFT hidden in its hiding spot!)

### Tezure Hunters

Anyone can hunt for tezure. All one needs is a tezos address and a [wallet](https://templewallet.com/) to interact with the [tz1and](https://tz1and.com) metaverse.

If you think you've found some hidden tezure, hurry and go comment on + quote tweet and tag the original post on twitter with a screenshot of you finding the hidden 3D NFT.

If no one else has already found the hidden NFT, the Creator will reply to your comment (or they'll DM you) and ask for your tezos address so they can send the NFT to your wallet.

### Tezure Hiders

The amount of items that you choose to create when minting your NFT is up to you. 1of1's are personally more interesting to me; they feel more like "treasure". But there are scenarios where allowing multiple people to find the hidden NFT makes sense.

As the Creator, it's your call.

Keep this in mind also. It's your responsibility to transfer the NFT when it's found. It is not the responsibility of Place owners, nor the responsibility of tezurehunt, nor the responsibility of tz1and. <a href=""><img src="https://hackmd.io/_uploads/SJO9HcZSc.png" width="30"></a>

### Need a Place to hide your 3D NFT?

If you want to hide a 3D NFT in tz1and but don't [own your own Place](https://www.tz1and.com/auctions) yet, no problem.

Join the [tz1and discord](https://discord.gg/T5CcJ9U6ak) and post a screenshot of your 3D NFT in the [tezurehunt channel](https://discord.com/channels/936666082733858917/967068062685737041).

Place owners will DM you if they are interested in letting you hide your NFT in their Place.

Once the Place owner has granted your tezos address permission to Place items, you can hide your NFT in their Place.

### What if someone finds the hidden tezure before me?

You lose. lol!

Everyone will know when a hidden NFT has been found because the finder must comment on and quote tweet the original post in order to stake claim to the loot.

### How long does a tezurehunt last for?
The length of time that a tezurehunt runs for is entirely up to the Creators of the hidden treasure. Some will set time limits, some may not.

Tezurehunt itself is ongoing and possibly neverending.

### What happens if no one finds the hidden tezure?

Creators can do whatever they choose to do with their unfound NFTs.

One idea for unfound NFTs is that they could be donated to the tz1and Museum and displayed in a 'Buried Tezure' wing, alongside a collectible info-item of a triptych model showing three screenshots:

- front elevation screenshot of the Place in tz1and where the NFT was hidden
- screenshot of the NFT still placed in its hiding spot
- screenshot or image of the NFT itself

*NOTE - a tz1and Museum alliance is still being imagined.

If it turns out that #tezurehunt becomes a thing, I will consider turning tezurehunt.xyz into a tz1and DApp and building in some tokenomic features and reward mechanics for tezurehunt hiders and seekers.
