## Requirements for a voting tool

What should be voted?
possibility to vote yes / no
possibility to vote for options of visuals
possibility to chat / discuss an option, support an opinion before voting
possibility to add short description text + links or visuals to illustrate the voting options
possibility to see how many votes have been made and see a percentage upon voting
Who can vote?
Everyone who participated to the hicathon (who received some bounties / the hicathon badge)
Everyone who wants to participate after requesting the access (via simple google form)
How are people voting?
After entering the voting space by connecting their wallet, people have access to a non-financial token which can be used only to vote for the hicathon. Everyone will receive the same amount of token. The gas fees will be covered by the hicathon budget directly.
What is the voting rule?
We are following the simple rule of 1 voice = 1 vote. All votes are equal.
For which info do we need transparency?
We need to ensure the simple rule of 1 voice = 1 vote is secure. Transparency aims to make sure people are not using fake accounts to vote more.
Who can enter the options?
The hicathon orga team has been compiling the info from the WGs and will enter the data directly.

Being able to discuss and debate before voting. To influence their decision, people can support some ideas by adding a “like” (example here).
