Feliz's Pope Rules

1._The Throne of Saint Peter will be Neutral in Affairs between Catholic Nations, unless they're excommunicated or have done something to upset the Vicar of Christ like consorting with Heathens or Rivaling the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth.

2._Excommunication will be done for free but only on rulers with evil traits, or low stats across the board if the argument is made by another player. Anyone declaring war on the Papacy will also incur on Excommunication.

3._Pious Christians might ask the Pope for a crusade, even our misguided Orthodox brethren, the Papacy will automatically join any and all efforts against the heathen on a crusade.

In case of more than one player wanting a crusade, the Throne of Saint Peter will declare the one either most people want or if the same amount of people request, the one deemed the most important by the Pontifex Maximus.

4._If the Bishop of Rome finds himself at peace and at peace, the Papal armies will join any effort by another christian for defense against the heathen or an excommunicated ruler.

5._Any and all alliances entered by the Servant of the Servants of God will be purely defensive, unless a good argument can be made for launching an attack on a fellow christian.

6._In case of the Papacy running out of manpower Swiss mercenaries will be the first option to get from the Successor of the Prince of the Apostles, other mercenaries will be taken only if the Swiss cannot answer the Holy See's Call to Arms.
