## Manual test

1. DL legacy master iso
2. install with qemu/kvm and boot per https://gist.github.com/samrose/e58bbe5411cef6b56d7155cb6b7f0f3f
3. `sudo cp /etc/nixos /etc/nixos.bak; nix-channel --list > /etc/nixos.bak/channels`
4. `git clone https://gist.github.com/yegortimoshenko/119a8b6b2687f50917bc2576f73032ac`
5. Run script

## Hydra channel update test

1. add configuration.nix and script to activation scripts in module on legacy branch
2. push changes
3. hydra to build a new release, then download it and check if it ends up switching to new version

If all tests pass, we will distribute to the real legacy channel

## Legacy migrate test instructions

1. Locate your holoport device, plugin power and network ethernet cable and power on
2. The device should cycle through flashing blue, flashing purple and aurora
3. After around 30 minutes, the device should cycle to displaying a flashing green light. If your device runs for an hour or more with no flashing green light, or if it succeeds in displaying a flashing green light, please contact [e-mail] with the subject line "update test results" to report the results and thank you
