# <center>TGMC's Officers Academy</center>
## Introduction
The TGMC's Officers Academy is an organization that aims at gathering knowledge, advice and strategies about commanding marines of the [TerraGov Marine Corps](https://tgstation13.org/wiki/TGMC:TGMC).
The Academy is not an official organization made by TGMC's staff. It has been created by players, for the players.
The documents written by the TGMC's Officers Academy are not to be taken as universal truths but more like advice written by seasoned command players.

## Rules

Every OOC rules of the TGMC server are applicable in the Academy.
### II/ Academic rules
**0.** Do not be condescending, do not personally attack other players, discuss and write with the intent to teach and learn, not mock and destroy.

**1.** Comments are to be used for constructive criticism or to add additional arguments to a point. If you want to debate or discuss take it to discord.

**2.** This is not a game walance council. Do not complain about game balance here. The Academy aims to find the most effective strategies and is bounded to talk about the most effective tactics available.

**3.** The environment is changing and evolving quickly. Old strategies becomes obsolete, new ones emerge. Do not be opposed to change and respect the heritage.

**4.** Promoting tactics that are against the rules is forbidden.

### III/ Contributions Guide

**0.** Respect the templates for writing documentation.

**1.** Discuss and confront your ideas with others officers in order to give them some nuance or to further your argumentation.

**2.** Do not steal the subject someone is already writing on. Instead, help them contribute by giving your insights.

**3.** Credit as much fellow Officers as you can, especially the ones that gave you their insight.

**4.** Exemples, pictures, drawings, videos are based as fuck, use them.

**5.** Be ready to have your ideas confronted.

**6.** Do not horny post please I beg.

## Closing Words

Remember that this is a game. Most players are here to have fun. Even if we are aiming to make the marines efficient by using tactics remember we are doing it to have fun. Do not force your way of play when a majority of marines disagree with you. They're probably not gonna follow you anyway.
