# Headmin debate February 2024

Introductions to start, let everyone talk about:
- Themselves,
- Their experience with TGstation,
- A one sentence summation of their goals.
- 1 Minute for intros

- 2 minutes to answer solo questions
- 5~ minutes for debate questions
- don't be a dick
- don't single people out

People who haven't been headmin: Are you aware of what being a headmin is? What do you think it is?

People who have been headmin: Why do you want to do this again, what can you do now that you didn't do before?

"The way we run these elections is deeply flawed. They're popularity contests when the role itself is not one people should willingly want. Being a headmin means dealing with the absolute worst of the ss13 community. You're going to tackle a lot of uncomfortable topics, and you're not going to have the position of power you think you will. You'll be working alongside two other headmins who might not always agree with your changes, and an entire admin team who's looking to you for support.

If you're coming into this for the first time, please be absolutely sure that you actually know what being a headmin means. If you're coming back to this, be sure that you're prepared to take that burden of responsibility once more. Best of luck to you all.
