# Terminal Zero Privacy Policy

Terminal Zero (hereinafter referred to as "the Application") is a professional cognitive protection tool developed by SYNTE_LAB. We take your privacy extremely seriously. This policy explains how we handle information.

### 1. Core Privacy Principle: Zero-Telemetry
We adhere to a "Local-First" architecture.
* **No Trackers**: The Application does not contain any third-party analytical tools, advertising tracking SDKs, or crash reporting software (such as Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics).
* **No Cloud Sync**: All your usage data and configuration preferences are stored exclusively on your mobile device. We cannot access and do not collect any of your data.

### 2. Permission Requirements and Purpose
To implement "Cognitive Protection" features, the Application requires the following permissions:

* **Usage Stats Access**:
* **Purpose**: Used for "Temporal Analysis" and "App Priority Sorting".
* **Processing**: The system calculates the foreground time of each application in real-time to determine your remaining "Focus Quota." This calculation is performed entirely locally on the device.
* **Post Notifications**:
* **Purpose**: Used to send critical alerts when your "Focus Quota" is exhausted (Protocol 03: Expired) to initiate the lockout procedure.
* **Default Home (Launcher)**:
* **Purpose**: The Application must be set as the default home interface to establish a "Behavioral Firewall," protecting your attention through intentional physical friction (such as long-press to boot).

### 3. Data Storage Items
The Application only stores the following necessary settings in the device's `SharedPreferences`:
* **Focus State**: The current `is_focus_mode` status.
* **Return Path**: The package name of your designated "Host Launcher," used to correctly guide you back to the native system when focus mode is disengaged.
* **User Preferences**: Including audio toggles, long-press modes, and other personalization settings.

### 4. Third-Party Integration (AI Uplink)
The Application provides the "AI Uplink" feature, serving as a gateway to synthetic intelligence models:
* **Mechanism**: When you select an AI model (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini), the Application attempts to launch the corresponding third-party app or opens its official web URL.
* **External Policies**: Once you leave the Application, your data processing is subject to the privacy policies of those third-party providers (e.g., OpenAI, Google).

### 5. Cognitive Protection
The Application implements a "Focus Reserve" (Cognitive Limit) system. This feature enforces "Access Delays" to ensure cognitive recovery and protect your cognitive capacity for the following day.

We will update this policy when there are significant changes to the protection modules or architecture. We recommend reviewing the latest information via the in-app System Manual.
